Description

Mary (a butch lesbian who wants to wear slick suits and wine and dine beautiful women) meets Tom (a gay man who wants to wear flowing dresses and be treated like a lady). What they have in common is a love for the magical world of 1940s Hollywood films, when women were women and men were men. Or were they?

“The Third International Transgender Film and Video Festival Program.” London: Alchemy Festival Productions, 1999. Personal Archives.

Tom and Mary meet on a lesbian and gay caravan. Tom is all Mary hates about gay men, and Mary is all Tom loathes about lesbians. What they find is each other, one caravan, and no way of getting out.
